Erin Ontario is located about 80 kilometers northwest of Toronto. It's population is just over 11,000 citizens. It was first settled in 1826 when the first sawmill was built.
While farming is an important part of this rural community most residents commute to cities like Brampton, Guelph, Mississauga and Toronto. Being in easy commuting distance to major cities but still maintaining the country charm has kept Real Estate prices strong.
Erin Fall Fair- The Erin Fall Fair is considered the preview to the Royal Winter Fair. The Fair happens every Thanksgiving weekend.

The most notable is the Catract Trail which is part of the Trans Canada Trail System. Parts of the trail can be found at the top of of Erin right after you pass Stanley Park. If you want to catch the trail in Hillsburgh it is just down the road from the Fire Hall on Station Road behind Morette's furniture.
